The Caribbean is truly a dream destination, yet its charms extend far beyond the crescent-shaped beaches, enticing azure waters and vermilion sunsets...
It is an idyllic corner of the world where the rush hour usually takes place on water-skis, where friendly islanders are quick to shake your hand and where calypso rhythms and reggae tunes add a definite element of
excitement to the balmy evenings. Don’t make the mistake of thinking all the islands are the same, however. Appearances vary greatly from the lush
tropical vibrancy of St Lucia and Jamaica, for example, to the low-lying windswept charms of Anguilla and the Turks and Caicos. Each island also has
its own very distinctive personality, ranging from the colonial-style glamour of Barbados and the Robinson Crusoe-style charms of the Grenadines, to the
French chic of St Barths and the step-back-in-time ambience of Nevis. The hotels are either small and privately owned or larger and part of
international groups, although they are all equally committed to making your visit to this tropical paradise as memorable as possible. Whilst the
winter climate is idyllic, come here year round – although expect higher rainfall in the late summer and autumn months – and surrender to the
Caribbean’s deliciously slow pace of life, rum punch in hand, of course.
Antigua's:- multitude of beautiful palm-fringed beaches and the English Port have helped turn
the island into a magnet, both for those in search of sun and sand and the yachting fraternity, creating an informal and relaxing ambience.
There are many activities to enjoy in Antigua, cricket is the national sport and during sailing week yachtsmen arrive from all over the world.
Barbados:- is everything you expect of a tropical island, and a little more besides. The soft, sandy beaches, inviting blue waters and
swaying coconut palms are unmistakably Caribbean, while Nelson's Column, cricket and afternoon tea are British traditions.
There are many interesting places to visit in Barbados, the Capital Bridgetown is a charming place to wander or explore the East Coast of
Barbados with its pounding surf, rolling hills and fields of sugar cane replacing the tranquil beaches so evident elsewhere on the island.
Travel by car, VIP escorted tour or take a helicopter trip to discover the many delights this beautiful island has to offer.
Grenada:- Mountainous Grenada in the
Windwards, is the Caribbean’s original ‘Spice Island’, its lush
soaring scenery dense with banana, cocoa, nutmeg and cinnamon
plantations, and in the south dropping down to exotic beaches edged by
delightful little hotels. Still relatively quiet and undeveloped (you
won’t find a lot of nightlife here!), Grenada is one of the
Caribbean’s most inviting hideaways. It’s no more than 21 miles by
12 miles - but spans stunning scenic contrasts of towering
rainforest-draped mountain ranges and pristine white-sand beaches like
Grande Anse - one of the loveliest in the Caribbean.
Jamaica:- One of the largest islands in the Caribbean, Jamaica offers a truly authentic Caribbean experience, from its lush vegetation
and white sandy beaches to its distinctive traditions. Outstanding natural features also include the Blue Mountain range, and broad rivers
that wind through the tropical flora of its valleys. There is plenty to do in Jamaica, you could try climbing Dunn's River Falls or take a raft
trip on Martha Brae. Alternatively, an excellent choice of golf courses is available.
St.Lucia:- boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the Caribbean, from rugged green jungles and undulating agricultural terrain
to dazzling beaches. This is the Caribbean at its most seductive and perfect if you're seeking escape, romance or even a hint of adventure.
In the north, the spotlight falls more upon the pristine white sands,duty-free shops and immaculate golf greens, although if you're seeking
proof that the spellbinding scenery is not just restricted to the south, simply take a trip to Marigot Bay.
St.Kitts & Nevis:- Nevis a beautiful go-slow island with white sand beaches, where plantation houses and mountain walks replace
jet skis and glitzy nightlife. Nevis provides travellers with an opportunity to step back in time and be cosseted by old-fashioned
standards of service in exquisite post-colonial surroundings.
Turks & Caicos:- is set on one of the world's most spectacular coral reefs which is blessed with beautiful white sand beach
and intense blue water. Excellent golfing facilities are also available here.
Tobago:- The little sister to it's neighbouring Trinidad, it offers ever-green forests and over 200 species of birds. This tropical
paradise once renowned as the inspiration for `Robinson Crusoe' is a peaceful island with most of the 'action' limited to the south-west of
the island
Grenadines:- St Vincent & The Grenadines comprise a string of unspoilt islands rising from the sea between St Vincent and Grenada.
Famed for their spices and their Robinson Crusoe-like escapism, including deserted white beaches, the Grenadines are a magical retreat
from the demands of the modern world. The Grenadines are blessed with wonderful beaches, interesting walks and spectacular views. Mustique,
Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, Palm Island, Petit St Vincent and Union Island can all be reached by scheduled ferries, local air services or private
hire boats.
British Virgin Islands ( BVI):- There are about 50 islands that make up the Virgin Islands, some big, some merely rocks jutting out of
the clear blue sea. These islands lie approximately 1500 miles south/southeast of the North American coast. The principal islands are
St Croix, St John and St Thomas, all of which boast perfect white beaches and crystal waters. There are many places to visit on all three
islands which offer panoramic sea views in addition to individual attractions. On Croix Island visit the Botanical Gardens with their rich
colonial history. Two thirds of St John is US National Park and visitors to St Thomas will enjoy a wealth of attractions from Blackbeard's Castle
to the fascinating Coral World marine park
